Catering and Private Event Software for Restaurants

What event software replaces
Private events and catering usually live in an inbox, a spreadsheet and a paper BEO. Event software captures inquiries from your website, sends proposals and contracts, takes deposits and payments, produces BEOs for the kitchen and floor, and tracks event revenue. That matters most once events bring in real money and more than one person sells them.
Perfect Venue: published per-location plans
Perfect Venue has three paid plans. Professional costs $199/month per location and Premium $299/month per location, billed annually ($239 and $339 billed monthly). Enterprise is quoted on request. Every plan includes unlimited users plus account setup, migration and training, and there's a 30-day money-back guarantee (checked Oct 2026).
Tripleseat: from $375 per venue per month
Tripleseat says it starts at $375 per venue per month, with unlimited users, integrations and full feature access and no paywalled tiers. Add-on packages (Direct Book for 24/7 online booking, Floor Plans for 2D/3D layouts, and Tripleseat Hotels) are priced individually. Its service agreement allows other fees, such as payment processing and booking fees, set in your order form (checked Oct 2026).
Which fits
Single restaurant or small group that wants a published price and quick setup: Perfect Venue is the lower published entry point. Busy event program, multi-venue group, or a hotel with room blocks: Tripleseat's add-ons (Direct Book, Floor Plans, Hotels) cover more ground. Read our head-to-head Perfect Venue vs Tripleseat.
Buying checklist
Ask each vendor for: the all-in monthly cost per location, payment processing rates and who processes, whether your POS and calendar integrate, the BEO and contract templates included, and contract length and renewal terms (Tripleseat's agreement gives 60 days' notice of fee changes at renewal). Then run one real inquiry through each demo from first email to signed contract and deposit.
